GCRC Pediatric Nursing ____________________



The Pediatric Nursing staff collaborates with
investigators in the coordination and performance
of pediatric clinical research.  Scatter-bed
protocols may be carried out in any of the
various in-patient units, including PICU, NBICU,
the OR and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit, Infant
Unit, etc.  Outpatient studies may also be
conducted in the CRC outpatient clinic on 5
South at the University, or in any of the
department outpatient clinics at PCMC.

Our highly skilled research nurses are available
for:
 
* Assistance with initial study design
* Study coordination
* Identification and recruitment of study subjects
* Data collection and documentation
* Assistance with all study procedures, i.e. lab
  draws, x-rays, patient questionnaires, etc.
