The Nursing unit is staffed by seven full-time
and three per diem nurses, a receptionist and
two unit clerks.
Our highly skilled research nurses collectively
have a broad range of expertise in nursing
practice, and are responsible for providing:
* skilled clinical holistic care
* invasive cardiac monitoring
* assistance with bronchoscopy, endoscopy
and colonoscopy procedures
* assistance with chemotherapy and therapeutic
apheresis
* meticulous implementation of protocol
procedures
* accurate data and specimen collection
* documentation of all patient care
In order to provide exemplary research patient
care, our nurses are exclusively assigned to the
Center and not assigned to duties outside of it.
